PRESTATYN Town FC have invested in the club’s future by extending the contracts of four promising youngsters for a further two years.
Rhys Owen, aged 20, who has been at the club for three years, put pen to paper on a deal lasting till the end of the 2015/16 season, along with team-mates Rob Hughes, aged 22, Dale Lee, aged 21, and 19 year-old James Stead, who all joined during this season.
All four featured heavily in the tail-end of Town’s disappointing Welsh Premier League season.
Director of Football Neil Gibson said: “I’m pleased to have got the four lads to put pen to paper so quickly after the end of the season and agree to long term contracts with the club.
“The future for the club looks bright. Rhys has been a part of the squad for some time now and with Dale, James and Robbie signing, it just goes to prove that we are the club that gives local lads the chance to become first team players here at Prestatyn.”
