PORT Talbot Town director of football Scott Young has been relieved of first team managerial duties with immediate effect.
The club announced on their official website:
After significant funds were made available to strengthen the playing squad during the summer, the board feels that the level of investment has not been reflected in results so far this season.
The club currently sit ninth in the Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League, while the pre-season target was to qualify for the top six.
Chief executive Andrew Edwards said: “This decision was not taken lightly, but the board feel it is in the best interests of the club moving forwards.
“The board would like to place on record their thanks to Scott for his efforts this season and wish him every success in the future.”
There will be a further announcement regarding who will take charge of first team affairs for the rest of the campaign.
Mae Clwb Port Talbot wedi cyhoeddi na fydd Scott Young yn rheoli'r tim cyntaf o hyn allan.
Wedi buddsoddiad sylwedol - gobaith y clwb oedd cyrraedd y chwech uchaf - ond ni ddigwyddodd hynny.
Ar eu gwefan swyddogol - mae'r clwb yn diolch i Scott Young am ei ymdrechion.
