DEFENDER James Bloom has left Port Talbot Town to join Newtown.
The former Cardiff City trainee made more than 50 appearances for the Steelmen during his two-year spell with the club, scoring one goal.
He arrived after a stint with Gloucester City, having played for Falkirk and on loan at Alloa Athletic before that.
It was while in Scotland that Bloom earned a call into the Wales Under-21 squad.
The 22-year-old has struggled to claim a regular first team place at Port Talbot this season, and the club would like to wish him every success in the future.
