Bala got 2014 off to a flyer on Saturday with two penalties, two sending-offs and six goals.
Bala began well with their foot on the gas as Kieran Smith´s shot narrowly missed the target with three minutes on the clock.
The opening 10 minutes mirrored our Boxing Day trip to Bangor as Bala took a 2-0 lead after only eight minutes.
Firstly Mark Connolly´s shot from 6 yards out found the net before 2 minutes later Ryan Valentine curled his effort in a great start for the visitors.
With 15 minutes on the clock Rimmer blocked Town´s goalbound effort off the line to deny a third.
The 3rd came on 29 minutes as Kieran Smith´s low half volley flew past Ramsey in the Rhyl net.
Tony Davies brought down Steve Lewis for a penalty to be awarded which McManus netted 5 minutes before the interval.
Only a couple of minutes into the second period Sheridan´s driven shot found Connolly who miskicked the ball for Smith to pounce on and hit the post in a frantic start to the second half.
Rhyl were awarded their second penalty of the game and Town were down to 10 men after Ben Collins handballed in the box.
For the 2nd time of the afternoon McManus stepped up and fired the ball past Ash Morris to bring the game to 3-2.
The home side´s tails were up as they pressed for an equaliser but Lewis was denied by Morris in goal.
Mark Jones has his powerful 18 yard half volley saved by Ramsey before Cadwallader was sent off for the home side meaning that both sides were now down to 10 men.
Ian Sheridan sealed the points for Town as he sent his low strike the edge of the area into the net for Bala to take away all 3 points.
A good performance by Bala, showing plenty of character once they were down to 10 men.
