Welsh Cup - Saturday results

Rhyl 1 Bangor 2

Sion Edwards scored his 5th goal of the season to give Bangor their first away win at Rhyl since 2005. A controversial decision led to the first goal from Lewis who scored a penalty to put Rhyl in the lead. But Bangor swiftly reacted and Miley scored an equalizer from a Sion Edwards free kick to put the away team level before the half time whistle. It has been 129 years since the rivals met in the first round of a Welsh Cup but it was Bangor who left with a win in today's dramatic finale.

Y Rhyl 1 Bangor 2

Sgoriodd Sion Edwards ei 5ed gôl y tymor hon i sicrhau fuddugoliaeth hwyr i Fangor. Mae 129 blynedd wedi mynd heibio ers i’r ddau dîm cwrdd yn y rownd cyntaf yng Nghwpan Cymru a nid oedd phrinder o ddrama y prynhawn yma. Digwyddiad dadleuol a wnaeth arwain at y gôl gyntaf a ddaeth o gic o’r smotyn. Sgoriodd Lewis i rhoi’r Rhyl yn y flaen. Daeth Miley a'r sgôr yn gyfartal cyn hanner amser. Ond diweddglo dramatic a arweiniodd at fuddugoliaeth cyntaf Bangor yma ers 2005.
