Gary O'Toole in action before during his second spell with Nomads
Gary O'Toole has returned to gap Connah's Quay for a third spell and he will go straight into the Nomads squad for their Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League match at Aberystwyth Town this afternoon.
The former Wolverhampton Wanderers and Coventry City youth first arrived at the Deeside Stadium in 2005/06 - making more than 20 WPL appearances and scoring 3 goals. He returned to the Deeside Stadium in summer 2010 and was the Huws Gray Alliance Golden Boot winner in 2011 and 2012.
He started the 2012/13 season with the Nomads back in the Welsh Premier League but quickly left to try and sign for a club in Malta. This didn't materialise and the goal scorer re-joined his former boss Nev Powell at Bangor City. He made a great impact with the Citizens scoring the winning goal in the Welsh Cup with his first touch, ironically against Nomads at the Deeside Stadium, but he left City at the end of the 2012/13 campaign, before switching back to the Nomads on Friday for a third time as a free agent.
Aber are in a great run of form at present and they were a bit of bogey team for us last season, but all the lads want to put that right and have been in great spirits this week - they are ready for a big performance
Aberystwyth and the Nomads met on four occasions last season, with the Seasiders coming out on top over the season, despite finishing below The Nomads in the final league standings.
The last of the four clashes last season saw The Nomads leave Park Avenue with a point after the game ended 1-1 after two first half goals.
Ahead of the game, Director of Football Mark McGregor said "Aber are in a great run of form at present and they were a bit of bogey team for us last season, but all the lads want to put that right and have been in great spirits this week - they are ready for a big performance."
