Leanne Boyd, from Rhuddlan models the new Rhyl Kit
Rhyl FC have launched their new home kit, which was designed and supplied by FBT in a media launch.
Modelled by Leanne Boyd, from Rhuddlan, Rhyl's press release states;
"The white shirt, black shorts and black socks constitute the only tailor made kit in the Welsh Premier League this season.
"On the back of the collar, the distinctive skull and crossbones harks back to the 1870's and Rhyl Skull and Crossbones, the forerunners of our modern day Lilywhites.
"The club's partnership with FBT sees them able to sell not just the replica home, away, training and leisure wear but team designs throughout the FBT range to clubs all over the country.
"Our plans over the next three years involve recruiting at least 20 semi-pro and pro clubs to fly the FBT banner," said FBT Europe director Mike Hegarty.
"However successful we are in this and in supplying the junior clubs at grass roots level, by definition Rhyl FC will now be our first and therefore our most precious friend. We plan to develop a range of mutually beneficial projects over the coming months."
"It's superb. I can't wait to see what the fans make of it. We have listened to the supporters and I am sure we will do well on club shop sales. It's also the first time we have sold training gear.
"We want to run a professional club and we look up to the clubs across the border and the way they run their operations. We want to do everything all the big clubs, like Manchester City, Everton and Liverpool do, in how they cater for their fans.
"I cant wait to reveal our new away kit too, before the start of the new season. This adds to all the positive things happening at Rhyl FC and there's lots more in the pipeline I can assure you."
The new kit will get its first run out in the friendly against Manchester City at Belle Vue on Saturday 10 August; kick-off 3pm
