Chris Mullock has joined the Saints
The New Saints Football Club have announced the signing of goalkeeper Chris Mullock, who has impressed on trial at the club.
The 'keeper has joined the reigning Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League Champions from Huw Gray Alliance side, Cefn Druids.
Last year, Chris famously kept a clean sheet against Finnish Giants, MyPa in the Europa League first qualifying round. He also faced the Saints in the 2012 Welsh Cup Final, when his Druids side were beaten 2-0 by the Saints who secured a League and Cup double in Bangor.
The young ‘keeper has admitted that it is a privilege to join the Oswestry based club;
"It really is a massive privilege to join The Saints and it is a massive opportunity for me."
Chris also confirmed that he has settled in really well, "I knew a lot of the lads before I joined like Aeron Edwards, Alex Darlington, Simon Spender and have settled in really well."
Mullock, has also expressed his desire to push Paul Harrison and has admitted he hasn’t signed to sit on the bench, ‘I want to play and I want to push Paul Harrison as much as possible.’
Director of Football, Craig Harrison also spoke of his delight in securing the player, ‘Chris is a really good young goalkeeper and I am very pleased we have got him on board.’
