Aberystwyth top scorer Mark Jones has been given permission by the club to fly to Australia this weekend to spend the summer months playing for Moreland City FC who play in Victoria State Division 2.
The former Afan Lido captain who has scored 18 goals in the Corbett Sports WPL this season told the Official WPL website:
'I'm off on Sunday and I can't wait to get over there. I will be back playing for Aber late September and I must thank the club for allowing me to be released from my contract. It is a great opportunity for me and I'm really looking forward to it.'
Gall gwefan UGC gadarnhau bod prif sgoriwr Aberystwyth y tymor hwn yn ei throi hi am Awstralia ddydd Sul.
Bydd Mark Jones - sydd wedi rhwydo 18 o goliau Cynghrair y tymor hwn - yn chwarae i Moreland City FC yn nhalaith Victoria dros fisoedd yr haf.
Bydd yn dychwelyd i Goedlan y Parc ddiwedd mis Medi ac felly ni fydd ar gael i gynrychioli Aber am fis cyntaf y tymor nesaf.
