Another two goals from Michael Wilde confirmed once again TNS's status as Corbett Sports WPL Champions as they beat second placed Airbus UK at Park Hall on Friday evening.
Wilde netted his 8th and 9th goals in five WPL outings as the Saints deservedly beat their closest rivals in Oswestry. The Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League's leading scorer took his tally to 22 goals for the season since rejoining the Saints from Chester.
Ryan Fraughan opened the scoring for the home side in the 8th minute with a deflected free kick and 10 minutes later, Wilde pounced on a Chris Jones cut back to double the advantage. Wilde made it three before the break before Airbus captain Ian Kearney netted early in the second period to give the visitors some hope.
However a great Chris Marriott shot from the edge of the box restored a three goal advantage for the home side before Michael Roddy netted a second goal for Andy Preece's men.
