Following the postponement of the Prestatyn Town v Bangor City match, three more fixtures have been postponed this morning with games at Carmarthen, Aberystwyth and Newtown all off.
Prestatyn Town's game was called off due to a waterlogged Bastion Road ground, whilst the Latham Park pitch in Newtown was also unplayable due to a blanket of snow, before the safety of Bala Town was even considered.
There was a very rare sighting of snow in Aberystwyth overnight, but that match was postponed on health and safety grounds due to Connah's Quay's severe difficulties in travelling following more overnight snow in Flintshire.
The same reason has caused the postponement of the previously-scheduled live television game at Richmond Park between the Old Gold and Airbus, despite the pitch passing an 8am inspection. As a result, the Rondo OB trucks have packed up and headed east to Aberavon, where Afan Lido and Llanelli is currently on with a new kick-off time of 3:15 for tv purposes.
There is one other change at Afan Lido as Connahs Quay-based referee Nick Pratt is unable to travel with his Wrexham-based assistants, so the referee team from the Carmarthen-game, led by Bryn Markham-Jones take charge at the Marstons Stadium.
Due to the adverse weather conditions, Sunday's game between Port Talbot and The New Saints will kick off at 3.30pm rather than 2.30 as originally advertised.
