Carmarthen Town have been dealt a cruel injury blow as midfielder Paul Fowler could be missing for at least eight weeks after fracturing his wrist.
The ex-Neath star suffered the injury in last Saturday's Welsh Cup defeat to Prestatyn Town, which added more misery to the Old Gold's Cup exit.
He may return in time for the Europa League play-off, but it seems likely that he will miss the rest of the Top Six matches.
Fowler, who was plucked from the lower Leagues by Carmarthen in 2006, returned to Richmond Park after leaving Neath last January and he is once again an influential member of Mark Aizlewood's side.
