Gap Connah's Quay - Appeal Received by FAW

Gap yn Apelio'n Swyddogol

The FAW has just received notification (Monday) from Gap Connah’s Quay that the club is appealing the one point deduction imposed on them for fielding an ineligible player.

The next step will be for the FAW to appoint an Appeal Panel to be chaired by an independent person (not from the FAW) aided by senior FAW officials- none of whom were on the original Disciplinary Panel who decided to deduct the all- important point from Gap a week last Friday.

The Disciplinary Department is fully aware of the importance of this situation and will conduct itself in its usual efficient manner.

Mae CBDC newydd dderbyn cadanhad (Dydd Llun) bod Gap Cei Connah yn apelio yn erbyn y penderfyniad i dynnu pwynt cynghrair oddi arnyn nhw.

Bydd Panel Apêl gyda Chadeirydd annibynnol (nid o GBDC) yn cael ei benodi a bydd rhai o uwch swyddogion y Gymdeithas hefyd yn aelodau’r panel.

Ni fydd yr aelodau hyn wedi bod yn rhan o’r Panel Disgyblu gwreiddiol benderfynodd gosbi Gap wythnos i ddydd Gwener diwethaf.

Mae Adran Ddisgyblaeth CBDC yn berffaith ymwybodol o bwysigrwydd y sefyllfa hon a byddant yn gweithredu’n broffesiynol ac effeithlon yn ôl eu harfer er mwyn datrys y sefyllfa hon cyn gynted ag y bo modd.
