Gap Connah's Quay have made a plea to volunteers to help clear the pitch of snow so Saturday's Welsh Cup Round 4 match can go ahead as planned. A club statement issued on Friday afternoon said;
"Despite the snow gap Connahs Quay and Bangor City want this game to be played. The referee is willing to give it every chance.
"A forecast of rain and warmer weather tomorrow might give us a real chance. We need your help.
"We our asking people to come down at 9am to help clear the snow off the pitch ,please bring shovels ,brushes ,wheel barrows ect.
"All who help to do so will gain free entry to the game be they Nomads, Bangor or nuetral supporters.
Together we can do this. So tell your family and friends This will add to a special cup tie.
