Eighth Spot now in Euro Play-Off Contention

The Race for Europe....Explained

The race for Europe took another twist yesterday with the outcome of the Welsh Cup Semi-Finals as the League's eighth spot is now guaranteed to enter into the Play-Offs. GAP Connah's Quay's defeat to Bangor City in the Welsh Cup Semi-Final means that all four European places will be occupied by Principality Welsh Premier League clubs.

(But if Bangor wins the League and Cup Double)

Five Teams Qualify - Three clubs from the Top Six would have already qualified for UEFA Competition as above so the eighth club is now guaranteed to be involved as Seed 5.
