Bangor City v Aberystwyth Town
VSM Bangor City Football Club Stadium, K.O. 19:45
Both sides come into this off the back of wins on MD12, Bangor beating Newtown 2-1 at Latham Park and Aber defeating Cefn Druids 1-0 at home. Aber have turned things around of late, winning three of their last four games, a run which has taken them out of the relegation zone into 10th. Manager Neville Powell makes his first competitive visit to his former club as a manager since leaving Nantporth, and he'll be hoping his Seasiders can continue their good run of form and leave Bangor with three points.
Bangor's good start to the season had derailed slightly of late, their win on the weekend ending a run of three straight defeats. The win though moved them back into 4th above Cefn Druids, and victory tonight will see them close the gap on the teams above them down to one and two points respectively.
The Citizens are already missing Paul Connolly, Danny Gosset and Gary Taylor-Fletcher through injury, and late fitness tests are expected on trio Danny Holmes, Guto Williams and George Harry, who all suffered knocks on the weekend.
The game between the two sides on MD6 produced an exciting contest, with five second half goals including three in the final three minutes of the game as Bangor won 3-2. Expect plenty more drama this evening in the north-west.
