Bala Town capture versatile Jones

Bala Town have announced their third summer signing with the capture of 25-year old Andrai Jones.

Jones makes the move from Southport who were relegated from the National League last season.

Jones' youth career began at Everton, before switches to Preston North End and Bury, for whom he made his first team debut in 2011. He made a total of 20 appearances before a move to Barnsley and then Gateshead in 2014. Jones joined Southport in 2015, playing for former Airbus boss Andy Preece last season, before he made the switch to Southport making 32 appearances and scoring three goals.

Hailing from Liverpool, Jones is a versatile player who has played in defence and midfield and will wear the number 17 shirt for the Lakesiders, which was occupied by Jordan Evans last season.
