Bala Town announced the signing of defender Evan Horwood in July 2017, following his departure from Chester the previous week.
The 31 year old is a centre-back who can also play on the left hand side and he has plenty of Football League experience to his name. He started out at Sheffield United and made a name for himself at Carlisle United before a move to Hartlepool in 2010 that saw him made over 120 appearances for the Club.
In 2013 he moved to Tranmere before signing for Northampton Town a year later. After two years with the Cobbles, he went on loan to Grimsby before signing for Chester in July 2016 where he made 21 appearances and scoring once for them.
He was allocated the number 11 shirt vacated by the departing Kieran Smith.
