Wrexham-born Chris Mullock joined Aberystwyth Town permanently in January 2017 following a second successful loan spell from TNS.
Mullock joined the Black and Greens on loan in the 2016 Autumn and had been in top form ever since, and a key player in Town's surge from the bottom two to Top Six contenders in 2016/7. He earned National fame in October 2016 by scoring a 65 yard free kick against Rhyl to mark the first ever competitive goal on Park Avenue's 3G Surface, and has contributed to five clean sheets in 12 Dafabet WPL matches. Mullock's loan period with Aber expired on January 1st but club officials moved quickly to secure his permanent transfer.
Mullock had joined TNS from Cymru Alliance side, Cefn Druids in the summer of 2013 and spent the majority of the 2013/14 season on loan at Newtown after joining the Robins in September 2013.
He famously kept a clean sheet against Finnish Giants, MyPa in the Europa League first qualifying round and helped his former team mates to a famous draw.
He spent time on loan at Aberystwyth Town in the 2015/16 season, as cover for Mike Lewis. Since joining TNS, Mullock has proved to be an excellent second goalkeeper and kept a clean sheet during the 2015 League Cup Final against Bala Town.
