Citizens come from behind to beat Prestatyn

A penalty from skipper Dave Morley thirteen minutes from time handed Nev Powell's side victory after the Citizens came from behind against an impressive Prestatyn Town who were unlucky not to take anything from the game.

Following a goal-less opening period, the visitors took the lead through Steve Rogers on 53 minutes, but the advantage was short-lived as Chris Jones equalised a minute later for the league leaders.

Referee Matt Bridges awarded the penalty for a handball, which Morley duly converted to give the hosts the lead for the first time and to send the Farrar Road faithful of over 700 into more celebrations. Chris Roberts was sent-off for a second yellow card with seven minutes to go, but Powell's side held on to extend their lead at the top to sixteen points over TNS.
