Ten Men Saints Hold on for Draw

It was all square at Park Hall as Bangor twice came from behind to clinch a vital point. Irishman Richie Partridge gave the hosts a ninth minute lead at Park Hall in the clash of the Top Two, before influential Bangor defender Peter Hoy departed the field injured, to be replaced by Clive Williams. The leaders were on level terms though, when Citizens' forward Alan Bull scored just before the half-hour. Aeron Edwards restored the hosts' advantage with 38 minutes played and the Champions led the leaders at the interval.

Bangor again clawed their way back and on 51 minutes, the Saints were reduced to ten men as referee Lee Evans showed Danny Holmes the red card for a foul, when denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity as the last defender. The resultant penalty from Dave Morley made the scores 2-2 with 53 minutes played and that's how it finished.
