Bangor extend impressive run to Twelve

A large crowd turned up at Farrar Road on Friday evening to see Bangor extend their phenomenal start to the season to twelve consecutive League victories. Bala were the latest "lambs to the slaughter" for a City side, who must be long odds on for the title after just as third of the season has been played. Manager, Neville Powell fielded a strong side to comfortably dispose of The Lakesiders, with Jamie Reed opening their account after 22 minutes and then got the the second on sixty three, with Nicky Ward rounding off another impressive night for the League leaders with thirteen minutes of normal time left.

The chasing pack get their chance to close the gap on Sunday, but with Bangor now being sixteen points clear, it looks a daunting task to say the least, even allowing for the fact that their closest rivals The New Saints and Neath both have two games in hand.
