Honours even at Airfield with late McKenna strike

Airbus UK Broughton 1-1 Newtown AFC

It was honours even at the Airfield on Wednesday night in the re-arranged match as John McKenna's 85th minute equaliser denied the hosts all three points.

The one point gained for Craig Harrison's side sees the Wingmakers climb back into the top five, whilst Newtown swap places with Prestatyn and into ninth.

The hosts took the lead at the Airfield against the visiting Robins with eighteen minutes played as the Wingmakers' leading scorer, Andy Moran struck the opener with his seventh of the season.

The home side were hoping that they would claim their fourth win of the campaign, but their visitors grabbed the equaliser, when on-loan midfielder John McKenna beat Callum Hawthorne in the Airbus goal.
