Referee: Kevin Parry
A PENALTY two minutes from time earned The Wingmakers a deserved share of the spoils on Friday night against a profligate New Saints side who had the majority of the territorial play, but time and time again failed to convert their chances.
Saints boss Mike Davies was furious with the referee for the decision, but he was a bit off the mark criticising Mr Parry about the penalty, as the decision was made by a linesman, but after all the protests had subsided, Airbus skipper Mark Allen drilled the penalty past Paul Harrison, much to the delight of the majority of the largest crowd of the season at the Airfield.
The visitors took the lead after 40 minutes when Matty Williams took advantage of a mistake by home keeper Kristian Rogers to score from close range.
Airbus restored parity just before the break when veteran defender Steve Evans turned a cross from Danny Desormeaux into his own net, wrong- footing Harrison.
The best goal of the game came in the 50th minute. Former Liverpool and Chester City winger Ritchie Partridge cut in from the left and then curled an exquisite effort past the despairing dive of Rogers.
