Steve Rogers returned to the Prestatyn Town team and scored a brace as the Seasiders claimed a vital win at Bala Town.
The visitors took the lead in the 13th minute when player/manager Neil Gibson scored the opener at Maes Tegid. Bala's Danny Williams equalised just four minutes later for the Lakesiders, but the Seasiders regained the advantage when referee Kevin Parry awarded a penalty, which Andy Moran converted against Matthew Boswell.
Bala's leading scorer Ricky Evans restored parity five minutes before the break in a thrilling opening half.
The second half belonged to Prestatyn and especially Rogers, as the veteran centre-forward struck a double to win the game. His first came in the 58th minute and the three points were sealed half an hour later, when he struck his second two minutes from time.
Prestatyn leapfrog Bala into seventh with 44 points and four games to play, whilst the Lakesiders fall into eighth with 43 points, also from 30 games.
