Bangor scored six times - one more than Saturday - in a nine goal thriller at Farrar Road, which saw the lead change hands three times and Bala have three players sent-off. The Citizens had to come from a two-goal half-time deficit to claim all three points in one of the most exciting games of the season to date.
Bangor striker Chris Sharp scored his third goal in four days when he opened the scoring for the Citizens on 21 minutes but the hosts' lead was short-lived. John Toner equalised for the Lakesiders just a minute later to get Bala back on level terms.
With five minutes left in the opening half, Toner doubled his tally for the season with his second of the evening to give the visitors the lead for the first time. Things got even better for Colin Caton's side before the break as referee Huw Jones awarded Bala a penalty. Ex-Citizen Ricky Evans stepped up to convert, which was his second of the campaign from the spot against Bangor.
The second period told a different story and Nev Powell must have given his side a few stern words in the changing rooms at the break. Ashley Stott pulled one back three minutes after the break and Dave Morley claimed the equaliser on 65 minutes, which led to Bala's Peter Moore seeing red for a second bookable offence. Mark Harris was also sent off in the 85th minute for his second bookable offence, and then the hosts scored three goals in the last four minutes to claim all three points and give the score a flattering finish.
Sharp struck his brace from the spot on the 86th and Jamie Reed grabbed a quickfire double on 89 and 90 minutes, whislt sub Osian Jones was dismissed in the fourth minute of injury time for foul and abusive language.
