Deryn Brace returned to his former club Haverfordwest with his Carmarthen Town side, but it was a sorry tale of defeat for the Old Gold who have alarmingly lost their opening three games. The Richmond Park club have played their three League matches away from home and have travelled to Rhyl, TNS and the Bluebirds, but Friday's 2-1 reverse means that they are still rooted at the bottom with Druids without a point to their name.
The Bluebirds went in front in the seventh minute in front of almost 600, with a stunning 20-yard effort from summer-signing Jarrod Price, before an intricate five-man move set up Robbie Walters for the second in the 43rd minute.
The visitors hit back on the hour as former Llanelli forward Mark Pritchard opened his account for the club, and they almost stole a point when ex-County forward and Haverfordwest resident Tim Hicks saw his last-minute attempt hit the woodwork.
