Wasteful Carmarthen Rue Missed Chances

THIS was hardly the result Carmarthen wanted to dish up to their supporters in their final home match following the disappointment of their Welsh Cup semi-final defeat last week. But manager Deryn Brace saw positives and told Media Wales,

"We asked for a reaction and got it, but unfortunately we left our shooting boots at home today," he said. "The supporters will be going home wondering how we failed to win, but we missed numerous chances and were guilty of poor finishing. We would have liked to have clinched fourth spot today and we need a point to be certain from difficult trips to Prestatyn and Caernarfon."

Robins' keeper Dave Jones was in brilliant form, superbly denying Stuart Roberts, Jamie Horwood and Tim Hicks, although Craig Moses missed a sitter for the visitors late on.
