Canaries Almost Down after Late Gnoll Defeat

Caernarfon Town are just one match away from relegation after a late defeat to Neath at the Gnoll on Sunday afternoon, which leaves them still eleven points from safety with just a maximum of twelve on offer.

Neath's fourth win on the bounce has ensured their Principality Welsh Premier safety for another season and they were indebted to veteran striker Carl Shaw for the winner this afternoon. He replaced skipper Andy Hill with five minutes remaining and with the scores level, and grabbed the winner just four minutes later.

Earlier, defender Sean Cronin scored on 26 minutes, but teenager Tom Grice gave Dave Rowe hope with ten minutes remaining to equalise. To make matters worse for the Canaries, Marc Dermott was sent-off for a second yellow-card by referee Carmelo Lo Faro.
