Relegated Canaries battle for Point at Bangor

THIS game was academic for the Canaries, who had relegation confirmed two days earlier without kicking a ball. But at least they gained some pride with a battling point on a ground where they have enjoyed little success in their Welsh Premier history.

Given a rare start, striker Kevin Lloyd made the most of his opportunity for Bangor with a goal after 22 minutes. Lloyd was presented with a clear run on goal and made no mistake.

But young striker Tom Grice unleashed an unstoppable drive into the top corner to grab an equaliser for the visitors who showed no sign of a post-relegation hangover.

Bangor did have the better of the chances towards the end, but a draw was probably a fair result at the end of an evenly contested game.
