Bangor City marched on with another win as they continued their push for Europe. They took the lead in the ninth minute and held on to it to claim the three points at Farrar Road against a stubborn Aber side.
Christian Seargeant was the Citizens' hero with an outstanding free-kick, which was the result of a clumsy Matthew Roberts challenge on Ashely Stott. The former Everton youngster struck a pearler of a 30 yard set-piece, which rounded the inside of the wall and beat David Jones at the near post.
Sub Karl Noon made his Bangor debut as a second-half sub, and he almost created a second with an excellent run down the right and a pin-point cross, which Stott headed at Jones who pulled off an excellent reflex save.
