Rhyl left frustrated after draw with Canaries

RHYL manager John Hulse was agian left disappointed as his side hit their worst slump since he took over the reins at Belle Vue six years ago following Saturday's shock home draw with rock-bottom Caernarfon meant they have now gone four games without a win in all competitions.

Caernarfon, who picked up their first point in seven meetings with the Lilies, made the better start at Belle Vue. Defender Lee Bamber was denied by the legs of keeper John Gann early on. Top scorer Lee Hunt went close with a diving header for the home side before the end of an uninspiring first half.

Early in the second period Town were unlucky not to win a penalty after Paul Addo was sent sprawling in the area by Connall Murtagh following a dynamic run from just outside his own box.

Ross Stephens fired wide for Rhyl and the hosts nearly stole it in injury time when substitute Andy Moran's overhead kick cleared the bar by inches.
