<1>Airbus UK stormed to an excellent victory over the unpredictable Bangor City by 4-1 on Friday night. The Wingmakers, who hadn't picked up any points since a draw in October against Porthmadog, also smashed their highest ever victory in the League against Steve Bleasdale's men.
The hosts took the lead on 29 minutes through striker Darren Williams who has now scored three in his last two games. Gareth Owen would still have been anxious at half time despite the lead, as his side played with a very strong wind in the First Half. However, the home team used playing into the wind to their advantage as they played the ball around well. Indeed a great build up on 53 minutes set former Brymbo winger Neil Wynne up and he leathered the ball home to double the lead - His first for the club.
Just three minutes later and the pre-match underdogs had all but made the game safe when the recalled James McIntosh scored the third. There was still more to come though and the best was saved to last when midfielder Dave Hughes (left) picked the ball up outside the area and following a mazy runon the left, he beat two defenders inside the box to finsih cooly.
There was a consolation for Bangor when sub Marc Lloyd Williams scored a penalty after Ryan Edwards made a clumsy challenge, but that certainly didn't spoil a great night in Broughton for the hosts.
