Mutton's Century Seals Comfortable Nomads Win

Connah's Quay Nomads moved up to sixth in the Principality Welsh Premier League table, although the 3-0 scoreline in their home win over North Wales rivals, Bangor City doesn't tell the true story. Bangor will be dusappointed that they wasted a number of one-on-one chances with the usually reliable Marc Lloyd Williams guilty of squandering three chances.

The match was a double celebration for the impressive Nomads though, as crowd favourite Tommy Mutton scored his 100th Welsh Premier League goal, when he struck Nomads' third in the 64th minute to seal the game.

Previously, former Tranmere Rovers youngster Adam Dickinson continued his excellent form by scoring his 4th goal in three games, to put Nomads infront in the 21st minute. Midfielder Craig Garside added a second in the 34th minute and to add to City's woes, centre back, Adam Docker was sent off just before half time for his sedond bookable offence.

The Nomads always looked in control and their fans were delighted to see Mutton complete the rout becoming just the 15th player to celebrate his personal milestone. The jubilant crowd of over 350 was the Nomads largest of the year.
