Wickham hits Winner for Roger's Robins

<1> A goal by new signing Justin Wickham ten minutes from the end earned Newtown their first Principality Welsh Premier League win of the Season to ease the pressure on Robins' boss Roger Preece. In a lively encounter, which could have gone either way at Y Traeth, it ws the home side who scored first through the prolific Carl Owen with just ten miuntes on the clock.

The lead didn't last long though as Christian Courtney equalised from inside the box. The same player netted his brace on 19 minutes with a good volley, which left Port keeper Richard Harvey helpless.

The Robins also failed to sustain their lead for long as former Llangefni defender Rhys Roberts (pictured) brought things level at two all after just 26 minutes. The winner came in the 80th minute as the Robins created a slick build-up and when Wickham gained possession outside the box, his rasping drive, from the right, went in off a post.
